Opvouwbare tas - Endlessly reuseable

Uit het boek "Zo geknipt - deel 1" maakte ik weer eens een recept. 

Nummer 10, de opvouwbare tas.

Niet alleen leuk, maar ook zeer handig. Als je de opgevouwen tas bij je hebt, ben je altijd voorbereid op (onverwachte) aankopen. 

Ook leuk om cadeau te geven. Zo is deze tas ook weggegeven ;)

Ik gebruikte o.a. appeltjesstof (van de markt) en vlinderknoopjes.

Not only fun but also very convenient. If you have the folded bag with you, you are always prepared for (unexpected) purchases.

Also nice to give as a gift. This bag is also given away ;)

Pecan-brownies

Ingrediënten:

130 gr suiker

30gr cacao

60 gr bloem

mespunt zout

Bakpoeder (2 gr)

Kaneel (1 a 2 gr naar smaak)

80 gr roomboter

2 eieren

vanille extract (paar druppels)

gehakte pure chocolade (50 gr)

Pecannoten

Smelt de boter en laat het afkoelen. Klop de eieren en voeg een paar druppels vanille extract toe. Voeg alle droge ingredienten toe. Roer goed door elkaar. Voeg de gesmolten boter toe en de gehakte pure chocolade. Roer tot een glad en glazend beslag.

Giet in een vierkante vorm en leg de pecannoten op het beslag.

Ongeveer 20 minuten bakken op 170 graden. Hoe korter je bakt hoe kleffer de binnenkant. 

Wij zijn hier klaar voor HHB (Heel Holland Bakt) vanavond ;)

130 grams of castersugar

30gr cocoapowder

60 g flour (all purpose)

pinch of salt

Baking powder (2 gr)

Cinnamon (1 a 2 gr to taste)

80 gr butter

2 eggs

vanilla extract (few drops)

chopped dark chocolate (50 gr)

Pecans

Melt the butter and allow to cool. Beat the eggs and add a few drops of vanilla extract. Add all dry ingredients. Stir well together. Add the melted butter and the chopped pure chocolate. Stir to a smooth and "glossy" batter.

Pour into a square tin and put the pecans on the batter.

Bake at 170 degrees for about 20 minutes. The shorter you bake how smooth the innside of the brownie will be.

We are  ready for the Dutch version of "the great british bake off " which starts tonight

Baby slab - Baby bib

Voor een nieuwe wereldburger.... een op maat gemaakt cadeautje.... een stoere jongens slab. 

Uit een kleine handdoek knipte ik een slab.... en uit spijkerstof en ruitjesstof een stropdas en vestje.

Ik borduurde met het naaimachine eerst de naam op de slab en naaide met een zigzag steek de andere delen vast.

Ik maakte twee knoopsgaten en naaide twee knoopjes vast. Vervolgens de gehele slab afgewerkt met een zigzagsteek in afstekende kleur. Best wel stoerresultaat vind je niet?

Als laatste een drukker vastgemaakt zodat de slab vast gemaakt kan worden.

Ik maakte een bijpassend kaartje

In de spoel gebruikte is wit garen zodat de steken aan de achterkant van de slab niet goed zichtbaar zijn.

Strik er om en via de post verstuurd.

From a small towel I cut a bib .... and out of denim and gingham fabric a tie and waistcoat.

I embroidered with the sewing machine first the name on the bib and sewed with a zigzag stitch the other parts. I made two buttonholes and attached two buttons. Then finished the edge of the entire bib with a zigzag stitch in red. Cool result isn't it?

I used white thread for the back so the stitches are not prominent visible.

Finally, a pushbutton is attached so te bib can be closed around the neck. Made a matching card, put a ribbon around it and send it via the mail.

Soms zoek je een leuke (cadeau) verpakking, terwijl je alles in huis hebt om er zelf één te maken....

Dat had ik..... Lipton theedoosje beplakt met gekopieerd muziekpapier....Randjes netjes geknipt, bijpassend label erbij gemaakt, lint er om heen gestrikt en klaar is de originele cadeauverpakking...

That was what happened tot me ..... I've wrapped a Lipton tea box with copied music paper .... Edges neatly cut, matching label made, added a bow with ribbon ... Tadah....
